celica gt i/m + tb

i installed a celica gt i/m and tb on my 01 corolla. people said i was gonna loose power but i didn't think so . infact i'm 100% sure it made my car quite quick. planning to post pix but thats if anyone still goes on the website.

The only way to find out is to go to the track and get a slip.

just dyno it lol

A dyno would ballpark it, but a track run it a more accurate measurement of quickness.

track runs are prone to human error.

And dynos aren't accurate either. The readings fluctuate. LOL I guess neither can measure it accurately.

I prefer a dyno run. A base run with stock intake manifold and throttle body and compare it with the celica's installed.

thats how people normally test a product anyway

well i've been driving the stock im and tb for about a year and just installed the celica gt just 2 months ago. i'm pretty sure there is difference. i say it makes my engine looks a bit cleaner.

oh also another thing. we don't have a track in hawaii. it got closed down awhile back. so all we can do is do is race on the streets.

supposedly where going to have one in a years time, well thats what i heard.

how did you get it intalled, i have here sitting for a year and have no installed it yet. tied to put it in and there was no place to put the transmisssion cable in.

i use the throttle cable thing from a celica gt. u gotta bend em litto bit 2 make em work.

yeh, think imma fly solo even though the simplified dude keeps bugging me. besides my car isn't 2 fast, cannot even beet a ls-vtec.

my car more slow which is why i just goin make um nice, then my bike going be for speed=0)

well i got a few more mods 2 do then i all pau with the engine. then gotta work on making nice nice.

what kind of fitamint issues are there with the i/m and tb?

need new radiater hoses and new vaccuum hoses. bend the dipstick and also the throttle cable is gonna b a little off.
