CEL After oil got into the intake Manifold

Ok, I had a turbo installed on my Corolla 2002, oil started to leak to the intake manifold, I took the turbo out of the car to get it repleace and put everything back to stock. But now the CEL won't turn off. I cleaned the MAF sensor and the o2 sensor, I did a reset to the computer by taking the negative terminal off for about 15mins. The CEL went off but my car is now consuming a lot of gasoline. Recently the CEL came on again I cleaned the MAF sensor and the o2 sensor for a second time and the ligth went off but is consuming a lot of gas. So which one is likely to go bad, the o2 sensor or the MAF sensor? If not both. Any help would be apriciated.

I would hesitate to think that the MAF sensor is the problem - just spray it out good with some electrical parts cleaner (how did you clean it before hand?)

The O2 sensor would seem more likely to be the culprit.

What do the spark plugs look like?

How does your spark plug look like? if oil hit the maf sensor you have a good chance of the maf sensor going bad. it may be running it in a default mode cuz of a bad maf sensor.

Have you even looked up the CEL code yet?

I have not looked up the CEL code yet. I cleaned the MAF with electrical cleaner and it worked good for a while, same with the o2 sensor, cleaned with the same electrical cleaner and gasoline. Today the CEL came on again.
I also took the spart plugs out and cleaned them with gasoline.
Also there is a strong smell coming out of my muffler and when I hit the gas pedal the car seems to stall, as if it had more gas than what it needs.
So if the MAF sensor goes bad how would the car react vs the o2 sensor going bad?

There maybe a 2nd O2 unit attached to a cat under the car.
