    Carbon-fouled plugs

    Hey guys, how's it going.
    I've got a problem with my '95 Corolla (i got a 1.3L carbureted engine).
My spark plugs are being carbon-filled. I'm using OEM spec NGK plugs, I think part# is BPRE5 (never have had problems with these). I've checked carb mixture and it's fine (I've got it set correctly). Vaccum hoses are fine. Air filter is clean. Cooling system is working fine (not running too cold). Plug wires are new. I got no black smoke coming out of tailpipe. mmmm what else... distributor rotor is new, but distributor cap is kinda old, so I don't know if it could be the cap?
This problem appeared about a week ago. My car is mainly stock.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks a lot !

    THanks for the replies.
I got it fixed. Apparently it was a bad thermostat, so the car was running too cold for the plugs to self-clean.
