    Car is in the shop...Finally!

Actually, I put the car in yesterday and they began to tear it down (the tranny). I got the stage 3 Spec Performance clutch in today and went and switched it out for the flywheel (getting it resurfaced for free). My stock clutch was about as warn as it can be...It was getting worse and worse by the day, I could hardly accelerate! Oh and the synchro's were f'ed up in 2nd but they are going to replace 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears. This is $375+parts (not including the clutch, which was $320.

Anyways, I dont think that I will have it out by the weekend, but should get it Monday or Tuesday. After a lot of stop and go driving to break the new clutch in, I will turn it loose on the track and then on the dyno! :D

I will keep you guys posted!

I went with stage 3 b/c you always plan ahead...Stage 2 will be ok but stage 3 is just in case. Oh I know that its going to suck ass at first but I will get the hang of it. Oh and I got me some leg muscles bro! LOL calf-raises are my favorite activity! :)

omg your foot is gonna hurt on long drives, and don't ever take it when theres traffic. Its gonna probaly be a harsh engagement tool

relax guys..... its not like olympic lifting

my boy has an act 2600 street strip clutch in his GSX and its cake, you just have to get used to it like turbo said

and the twin plate in the supra is stiff but definately streetable, the only real thing that you have to get used to is the reduced travel in the pedal to full engagement....... it bites hard and it bites quick

Thank you...I mean, it's not THAT big of a deal. Dude in my apartment complex has a stage 5 in his WRX (that runs mid 11's).--And that's his daily driver. He told me it sucked ass at first but it gets better.
