Can someone explain how aftermarket groundwires improve the car's performance?

Pardon the noob-ness of this question. I'd appreciate if someone would explain what exactly aftermarket ground wires would do for my car, and if there's a particular brand better than the others.

The ground wires that you are getting are thicker and have less resistance than stock. You will gain power because your coils will be able to produce more spark. It's kind of like speaker wires, the thicker you go the better they sound.

But in all actuallity they really don't do much... it's mostly a placebo... kinda like an intake...

well with any wire the thicker it is the more it can move. just like running water through it. the faster and more you can get throught the better. so a larger wire is desired. i dont have them but i really have no clue if they work.

Size of wire has nothing to do with sound quality.

yeah, that's right jerry, size doesn't matter :) it's all about the quality :):)

ground wires.. strengthen your car's stock electrical system.

expect gains in the fractions of horsepowers..

My cars engine is regrounded and the only real difference i feel is a stronger start and a slight bit more pull. Not much really though. Its good for your engine because it makes the currents in the engine more stable and secure :)
