    Cai Install Help!!!

    Hey guys=
i need some major help..i tried installin my INJEN CAI this morning...i got everything in its place...but when i started it, there's a whining noise from the filter and exhaust..like it's strugglin to get enough air in...my question is where do the hoses go?

Does the hose from the motor go straight to the intake tube? Or which tube goes into the nipple of the intake?
And where do the rest of the hoses go?

NEED HELP ASAP. Too scared to run the car...!!

    1) Expect the intake to make a lot of noise when you first start the engine (cold/high idle). It is normal to make a whirring/"ppsssshhhh" noise - pretty loud too. That the sound the idle air control valve makes that you just never heard with the stock intake.

    2) There are 2 valves....it goes something like this:

The line that has the little green port on it and the tag that states "1psi maximum EVAP pressure" ---> purge valve (the big tall one with probably a blue connector - it's the one that ticks) --> engine (intake manifold).

The other line isn't labeled....it actually runs to the gas tank --> small valve (called the fresh air valve - probably a black connector) --> intake tube. This one simply opens to let fresh air into the gas tank since the engine is sucking fuel vapors out and creates a vacuum.

    Hope this helps,
    Trav

yes, and the whining noise is amplified usually when you cold start it and turn the steering wheel from side to side. almost sounds like a charger!
