Hello Guys. My name is Roberto.I´m from Chile. I have corolla Hatchback 1.6 VVT-i engine 3zz-fe , 110Hp/600RPM; 150Nm/4800RPM. I looked for many websites but I can´t found some experience or information for my rolla. I´m looking for a CAi or SRI. In this moment my car has a rectangular K&N filter, air snorkel off, a hose what connect the car bottom and the air bosx mouth. Also it has a ITC exhaust.

    hey roberto,

i have the same setup on my intake side of things and have performed the same mod on other cars. in my opinion, this stock airbox mod provided more gains than an injen SRI. I would recommend staying with your setup because even though it's not very good looking, it still performs better than most other mods i've experienced.

Another thing is that we don't get the 3zz-fe in the united states, so i dont think any of us would be familiar with the layout of your engine. if you could post some pictures of your engine bay we might be able to suggest intakes that would bolt up and potentially work.

    hope that helps,

    James

Interesting. Looks like the 3zz isn't any more powerful than the 4afe or 1zz motors. What's the point of another motor then?

    It's 1.6L man.
In some countries, the insurance and tax is lots cheaper if the displacement is under 1600cc.
