do you have an aftermarket head unit? Chances are either A) the head unit is grounded improperly, or B) the speaker is grounded out and picking up ground loop noise through the chassis... let me know what stereo stuff you have and I can give you further assistence

Who did the install? If you didn't do it yourself, take it back and get them to fix it. If not, where did you ground each of the units?

Haha, this one will be interesting... start this way... first off check your grounds for hte amps. are they in the same location? If not, make sure they are. Also make sure the paint below the ground is stripped off and the ground is on true chassis, then check the ground on the deck and do the same.

Second make sure the RCAs are on a separate side of the power wire.

Third, unplug the speaker wires from the amp and take either a test light or a multimeter and tap it to each wire to check ground... if one of the wires is showing a ground, then you have ground out. If you can borrow a powered test light they will pick up even the slightest hint of ground... if you find a ground source on one of the wires follow it back.

After that run an RCA directly from the deck to the amps, not installed, just temporary right through the car... test all the RCAs to see if the problem goes away, could be a bad RCA

Next try a Ground Loop isolator in the RCA. These can be purchased pretty cheap at any stereo shop. You can also try a RCA filter, but I hate those, theres no reason to have alternator noise.

Lastly try switching the speakers around on the amp, see if all speakers make the noise... its possible the amp could be bad as well...

Also try grounding your head unit at the same point as the amplifiers. A 10 gauge wire should be enough.

Did you run the RCAs accross the top of the blower box?

I'm not very good at all this stereo stuff, just a beginner. My friend installed the stereo for me. Everything is grounded properly. The RCA's are on the separate side of the power wire. There is no noise when the AC is off, everything is clear. Once I turn on the AC there is whistling in the speakers as I accelerate, and when I don't drive there's only distortion. The higher the air flow the louder the distortion and static noise.

I don't think the RCA's are ran across the blower box, but just to be sure where is the blower box located. The wires might be near it and that's why they're interfearing?

Thanks for trying to help me.

The blower box is behind the glove compartment. You only get noise with the A/C on?
