    Bulb brands?

I was strolling down this car novelty store, and can't help but notice all the different brands of light bulbs there are. Just to name a few:

    B1 Hybrid
    Nokya
    PIAA
    Cuzo
    etc. etc.

What's the difference between these brands? I mean, they're all in Japanese, they look the same, and maybe the only difference I see from the exterior is the wattage in/out. Is one brand supposed to last longer, or look better, than another? The most expensive bulb there is the PIAA bulb, and it's probably the ONLY brand I've heard of thus far. But as far as quality goes, do the brands really make a difference?

i was really happy with these too, i really don't like the blue tint of a lot of aftermarket bulbs. some dislike them and say they are overpriced, but i'm pretty satisfied with mine, i've had them for about six months now

silverstars, though they have a blue tint, aren't actually blue in any way when being used - they display a 4000k light, which is just plain white.

Don't waste your time with halogen bulbs and go pro with an HID kit or retro fit. No tinted bulbs there, except for some rare ones that use color sleeves. I have to admit though, the projection from the silverstars on my gf's truck are pretty good.
