? bout 03 injen rd cai

My older bro just bought me a injen cai for my car. I'm very thankful, but theres one problem i got a 05. WE threw it on wit on problem. I'm just geting a tickin in my engine. I think its comin from my evap. Theres no place to mount it. So I bent an airbox mount to a postion so I could mount it. Be it sits at an angle. I was told there has to be a certain psi running through the valve and thats why my check lights on. Can anybody help me with this?

the click is normal... there is more air getting to the VCU than there should be. that and the angel it sits at it doensnt like (not weighted correctly for it) but the TRD intake does the same thing... and a asked around at dealerships and they all said that the click was just something to get used to.

Do you know why it goes away sometime and how I could remove the check light? I tried on plugin the battery method and removin the fuse, but it didn't work. The light comes back on about 30min after.

hummm it (the click) goes away sometimes because there is the right amount of air in the VCU... its a throttle thing (I don't understand eather) and the CEL if you have an auto zone where you live they can check that for you for free and clear it out for you. the should also be able to tell you what it is.
