Bought an Integra, selling the Corolla

Like the title says, I just bought a 1994 Acura Integra RS, 5 speed...

It's the base model, but has a 1.8L 142hp engine in it, so its alot more fun than my 105hp, 3 speed automatic Corolla :)

I'm going to be trying to sell the Corolla soon... i'm gonna miss it though :(

Ill race your 142hp 1.8L Vtec with my 170hp 1.8L Lift. :) Nah just playing man. Congrats and i hope your happy with it. Im sure it seems like a rocket compared to the rolla. Although give it a week and it will seem slow and youll want more power, LoL.

Yeah, its a nice change from the Rolla for sure... first thing is fixing the few little rust spots on the body and painting it flat black :) just to be different... then im gonna do the suspension, struts, new strut mounts, and lowering springs (prolly kyb struts and neuspeed springs)... then its time for some performance mods... first thing is a header (suppose to be the worse bottleneck on the stock integra's), then exhaust/intake... and maybe an ecu chip (the spoon one is suppose to give about 10~12 flywheel hp, but requires premium)...

Yea my mom just bought the rolla with a really good deal from this grandma for $3,500 and it only had like 60K and then my she drove it up till like 80k+ and then I paid her $3,000 for it since she bought her Pilot and needed the money for down payment. The car has been a great daily driver and a nice car but I'm ready for something faster and better.... I mean the only reason I wanted that 3SGTE swap on that car was because Corollas are rare cars when modded so that's why but so far trying to mod that car has been a royal pain in the ass but I dk only time will tell wether I'll keep it or just go for something newer... I'm going to stay with Toyota that's for sure :D

Yeah, I wish I had the money to properly mod a corolla (which would almost include an engine swap)... nice about the Integra, the aftermarket struts are cheaper for the same model compared to the corolla :)

It feels alot faster... I had probably the slowest Corolla ever made though, 105hp with a 3 speed automatic doens't equal fast usually, heh... Yeah, I found some old articles in my magazines from 95-96 for Integra's and they seem to do the 1/4 mile in 15.7~15.9 seconds stock... and I think my corolla does it in like 18 seconds soo... it feels alot better, lol

Anyone know what the gear ratios are for the C50 tranny? I was curious myself how it seems nearly stock Hondas can bark the 1-2 shift, yet even when I'm shifting hard I never seem to.

    *Edit*

    Nevermind. Googled it.

    Corolla
    Trans Model - First - Second - Third - Fourth -- Fifth
    C50-----------3.545 - 1.904 - 1.310 - 0.969 - 0.815
    C52-----------3.166 - 1.904 - 1.310 - 0.969 - 0.815

    Integra
    Car Model - First - Second - Third - Fourth - Fifth - Reverse -- Final Drive
    RS/GS/LS-- 3.230 - 1.900 - 1.269 - 0.966 - 0.742 - 3.000 ----- 4.266
    GSR------- 3.307 - 2.105 - 1.458 - 1.107 - 0.875 - 3.000 ----- 4.400

My integra barks on the 1-2 and the 2-3 shift :)

I don't know why the 93-97 won't chirp though, the gearing isn't bad, 105hp should still chirp... but... its hard to get it to chirp, I couldn't get a 96 5 speed to chirp at all...

Anyways, I figure that i'll post up more info. on the Integra, since I feel like I got a great deal on it...

    1994 Acura Integra RS
    186 000 kms (105 000 miles)
5 Speed, Power Windows, Power Mirrors

Has a Pioneer deck (this years model), 2 6.5" Pioneer speakers (not the cheap ones, the ones the step up above, i'll have to take a look to see the model again) on the front doors...

A little bit of rust around the rear quarter panels (getting fixed this summer, when im painting it flat black)...

Paid $3300 Canadian for it ($2650 USD)... I think I got a great price for it...

Had it checked out at 2 garages first, only thing both places could find is that i'll need new bolts and a gasket between the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter, and the car needs 2 bushings in the front...

revhard turbo kits are sick, my cousin has the revhard stage 2 turbo kit in his 93 civic HB with a JDM b16 engine in it, hes runs 13.5 at 5 psi with only other minor bolt ons and if he pushes it to 8psi he could run 12s
