a buddy of mines had a weapon R in his 99.. it's your typical SRI.. I dont think you can hookup the ramair kit without relocating the battery though.

i have one and i'm not using it nemore on my 00. It works well and sounds good compared to stock airbox. Especially on a cold engine on cold mornings u can hear that thing work very well

I modded my 5efe weapon R intake into my corolla.... sounds great, and yea, it's real good in the morning, and once you pass 3000~3500 you notice a "much more" breatheable engine

I still need to port my exhaust, and a new catalytic

and you get a supercharger like whisper in idle and low rpms

I'll get a picture tomorrow, remember mine is from my old 5efe tercel, mine's pointing to the back (don't give the it's not properly placed crap... I know, I don't care... it doesn't make a diferrence)

since I said mine was custom fitted TWICE in the corolla, and 4 times in a tercel, I got the hang of it somewhat, but I suppose a original piece would be a 15 minute job, since most of my 2 hours went in...

    taking all apart
    thinking and drinking beer
placing the tube with the filter
    stare....
    connect it....
    doesn't work...
    try again....
    hacked connected it....
    drove it

    didn't do the SWEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sound

    took it apart
    looked at it again
completely eliminated all the stock tubing and connected it from the beginning
    bent a vacuum metal pipe
    connected it all

    drove it

sounds like it's actually making a vacuum
    sweetness

it you hook it up to a place like behind the headlights of something where you get a better flow of air i dont now what it does though.. you could probably make it your self, all it looks like is the stock tubing with one of those little nipples to connect it to the intake
