Engine Bored Throttle Body

Bored Throttle Body

Hello all,

I have a 2002 corolla LE. Has anybody had their throttle body bored-out? Is there any noticable gain in performance from a new throttle body?

I have a 99 LE... I got El Prototypes Overbored throttle body... I believe it was overbored 3mm... I noticed a slight gain in mid-upper rpm's... nothing to pee your pants over..... take that money and put it towards a turbo.

ya, for the price i would spend my money somewhere else.

the place vamp went to bores it out 4 mm from stock.

i had the first bored throttle body form e.l. and i liked it, but i had in combination with cams and cold air intake. you have a 02 corolla, so that cams are a no go for you. it will improve the throttle response and would be nice if you have a intake and exhaust.

I have an EL Prototype CAI. Do you think that might be enough to notice a difference?

Seeing his car in person can make anyone have wet dreams, it is absoulty clean minus the deer damage

so just don't look at the driver's side of the car
