    man news here in CO don't cover shit but the weather and traffic lol I've seen this whole thing been done, few of my far cousins are in gangs and they do it all the time...... and also for whoever doesn't believe me that's fine I don't care I have no reason to lie and shit and I know people are entitled to their own opinion but I know that E_andree will be one of the FIRST ones to flame me on this just cause he assumes he knows everything that goes on in my life so pleas don't, I respect ppl's opinions but flamming I will not tolerate that

    Sorry, but I have a hard time beliving it with no proof to back it up. I heard this back when AOL 1.5 was out, lol. It was proved to be an urban legend then and until I get some proof...it still is.

    Well, I only flame ya because you have thrown out so many bullshit stories in the past, thats its hard to believe from you what is real, and what isnt. Dont throw out far fetched, bullshit stories and no one will have a reason to call you out on them.

    So youve actually seent this been done? Youve seen someone flash their lights, then have gang members turn around and chase them down and kill them? Sure.

    Oh, and I respect peoples opinions too.....this has nothing to do with opinions though.....look that word up.

    And this flashing headlights thing IS an urban myth, which has been around since before I was in high school. Regardless, it may have started out as a myth, and now people are copying it.

    Oddly enough in Damir's defense, I have to back his claims up --- EVER SO SLIGHTLY.

    While it is not standard policy for gangs to do this - there was a period sometime back where the local "wannabe gang thug bitchasses (tm) " (thats my offical trademark label for them btw) were copying the urban legend and actually doing this. I'm unfortunately unable to find any old news articles on it, and as I stated it was NOT common practice. It was just a bunch of idiot dipshits who thought the whole idea would be "fun" and did it.

    So there is some merit to his claim. However, it was *NEITHER* the Bloods nor the Crips who were officially doing this for initiation. To joing a gang the standard method still is to be "beat in". Commiting a crime to prove your worth I do believe is still optional. I haven't kept up with the gang stuff in about 10 years now, so my info could be outdated to that particular piece of info.

    Which I stated in my reply....that there probably were copycats. But to say that he saw it, and it was his cousins doing it....well.....so hes saying his cousins murder people all the time. lol.

    Just another notch on the BS story column.

    So youve seen people murdered??? The ONLY way youd have even been able to "see it done" was if you were in the car with the gang members. youre a liar, and any credibility you had left is now gone.

    talking about cops and crashes, there was a pretty bad one at Wads and 64th here in Denver saturday morning at around 4 am as I was going home well to work from Vortex's place, it was three cars the cop car was messed up pretty good and the other 2 cars had some pretty serious side and front damage.... I wonder if it was a short chase or something...

    100% urban legend..little copy cat gangs in small towns may try it though. How do I know? I have many friends in the bloods gang, 2 close one are superior bloods and are in charge of the recruiting. Most people are jumped in or have to commit a crime. Females are sexed in. But then again I'm from NJ so they may do some other wierd things elsewhere.

    i've never seen anything like the car light flashing thing happen. but, i moved away from colorado springs in 7th grade and gang activity was seriously picking up in the middle class areas of the city. My only nasty gang fact I can give is:

    Gang initiations included some homosexual activity and when people were jumped by the gang members, sodomy occurred. I know thats completely off topic, but c'mon, thats pretty damn nasty, and scary to be around when youre in 7th grade.

    further clarification: The way I was exposed to this was that I lived in Cimarron Hills, near the middle school and walked home a good little ways and passed several 'hang outs,' thus semi-witnessing some things.
