    What program can I use to put a black border around my photos?

    Mspaint will make the border look pretty tacky..photoshop is probably the way to go. I got the free 30 day trail version of photoshop elements 5.0 and I use the artwork and effects menu. There is a drop down box in that menu and just select frames, select which one you want and click apply on the lower right.

    in photoshop, go to Image > Canvas Size, then click the box called Relative Then enter how big you want the border to be. I think i go 10px on each side. Then in the drop box where it says canvas extension color, select black, click ok and voila! no cropping of the image and now you have a black border.
