So, hes a dumbass on screen. Hes a cool guy in person. Totally laid back.

His show is cool.....but hes rich from his CKY and skateboarding roots.

I like his show... I don't go out of my way to watch it (like I do the Simpsons) but if I am channel surfing and its on when I get to MTV I'll leave it there... I like some of the things he does

His show is like no other, and that says something for today's television.

Its like no other because he's a moron. No one else but MTV would give someone so much money to act like he does. I hope he dies doing one of his "stunts".

Well, lets see whos given him money other than MTV:

    Paramount Pictures: Jackass the Movie
    411 Productions: Haggard

Whoever fronted everything for his CKY series, starting from the late 90s.

Clive skateboards as a sponsor, along with Element skateboarding (one of the largest skateboarding companies out there), Element clothing line and Adio, Valcom, Etnies, etc.

He has his own clothing line......etc etc etc.

frankly, i give him credit for not doing something like EVERY OTHER TV STATION is doing.

you turn on evening TV, and you're bound to find one of the following:
a - super sappy family melodrama that almost always teaches a lesson/has a happy ending
b - comedy show that really can't deliver good amusement
    c - reality tv
    d - cop/law/firefighter/hospital drama
    e - "behind the ______"
    f - reality tv
    g - news-based shows
    h - reality tv
    i - did i mention reality tv?

so tell me, please - where's the originality in the above list?

And he hasnt done anything that most of us werent doing when were stupid kids in grammar school setting....pushing eachother in karts, skating down big hills until you fall off, jumping over creeks, etc. He just took charge and made it into something bigger.

It all started with the CKY videos of him and his group skateboarding, then doing stunts in the city and then taping it. Then the CKY band was formed, and they are making TONS of money. Then the jackass phenomenom started with Knoxville, and his skating career really took a leap. He could have gone pro way before, but stayed amateur for a pretty long time before going pro.

So I guess you are against Tom Green, Evel Kaneival, Howard Stern, etc because they have pushed the limit as well.

To me its not a matter of pushing a "limit". With Bam, nothing he does is funny. He cut let someone cut a hole in his Lambo, where exactly is the humor in that? I just think he's stupid...end of story.

i'd heard he broke up with her...?

unless that was a publicity stunt...

i can't go looking for it(blocked by the firewall) but look up www.perezhilton.com - i think that's where i saw it. it COULD be fiction, it COULD be fact - i don't really know.

here's a hint: it involves Jessica Simpson.
