um... well... if im correct... david is just using a caliper extender bracket and a larger rotor... and ss brakes lines... have a larger rotor doesnt really do much... it just adds weight... cuz the one he is using is a 1 piece...

the 12.2 inch rotor i have... has the same weight as the stock 10 inch rotor...

on our stock calipers... its only 1 piston... compare that to a 4, 6, or 8 piston caliper... ull notice a huge difference...

    just my .01.

    brake kit

I have an aem brake kit on my 2003 works great! Reduced stopping distances by far. Highly recommend them, plus they look tight when you have some nice 18's behind them.

Rear discs definitely help my car stop better. The calipers have been replaced, and are now very rusty, but then again, I did it for the SAFETY factor, not for looks. If you're going for looks, you're doing it for ALL the wrong reasons... Besides, rusty calipers beat painted drums any day!

Rear disc brake is a good idea
but you also remeber your tires do alot as well

So upgrading brakes without tires is pointless

the owner is debating if he should make a full kit or a partial kit...

full kit will include, brackets, ss brake lines, calipers, pads, rotors, and e brake lines.

partial will only include bracket, ss brake lines... you will need to get the calipers and e brake lines... etc...

something like that... it will be out pretty soon... so stay tune...

and just by changing my front brakes to 12.2 inch rotors and 4 pistons calipers... and ss lines... i noticed a 50+ percent increase in firmer brake pedal feel. 60-70% less effort needed to engage the brakes. before i would need to step the pedal about 1/4-1/2 way before it will start stoping... but now i bearly need to tap it...

    in short... it brakes awesome!

and no, i do not lock up my brakes... i dont really know how to explain the feelin... but go try drivin a car with bigger, better brakes... and ull know wut i mean... it brakes better then our avalon and 02 camry... and 98, 96 camry... and way better then our stock 02 rolla...
