Best way to hook up an audio source to your stock head unit?

I havent gotten a chance to look at the back of the unit. But i was curious what would be the best way to hook up my Ipod to my car stereo. I dont have a tape deck on my car just the 6 speaker single cd player. I know I could use RF modulator but I would like a better solution. Any Ideas?

I actualy was looking at the itrip right before i placed my first post. It wont be out till June though, and I am still concerned that the sound will be bad like other rf transmitters. I actually just picked my ipod up the other day. Always wanted one but i was just too cheap. Then the local target had the 10GB units on clerence for $130 off and I couldnt pass it up. Target isnt selling them anymore/the new models will be out soon and that is why i got it so cheap. This thing is great!

Hell yea you got a good deal. Target is one of the only ones that did not renew there contract with Apple to continue selling them. Dell has now signed the new agreement and will continue to sell them. Did you get the windows or Mac 10gig?

Now to stay somewhat on topic http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...?v=glance&s=electronics&me=ATVPDKIKX0DER&st=*

That is another one that I know of. The only problem about his one if I can remember is that you can only broadcast on like 3 channels. They are all low ones like 89.7, but it is still something to consider. Also I think that you will need your own batteries since it does not get its power from the iPod like the iTrip.]

I actualy bought the mac version of the ipod(only one that was left). I have A G4 tower at home and a couple pc's. I did however convert it over to a windows Ipod through some software I found. Works great. Might switch it back to mac someday. (I like Itunes better then music match.)

I think I will wait for Itrip to come out. I dont like the idea of changing batteries all the time. plus the Itrip just looks so much nicer.
