    best settup for 4 subs

currently i have 2 rockford fosgate 12"s. My girlfriend recently bought a "hooked up" civic on autotrader and has a system in it. She cant stand bass and gave it to me. It has 2 10" kickers. How can i fit hte 4 subs in the trunk with room to spare to use hte trunk. Could i have the subs on the side facing each otehr and have hte amps on the sides? Would that cause a problem in the sound with the bass goin at each other?

wudu mean stronger driver? the amp? i have a boss 1200 watt amp 2 channels 600x2. and a pioneer 1600x1 amp. Also my head unit only has 1 preout. Can i get a Y rca cable and hook up both amps?

He means stronger subwoofer. I agree with Beak. A single sub is the best way to go. Use four subs and you'll have an interesting low frequency response due to interference. It might sound great and it might not. You'll only know once it's done.

Depends on what the input impedances of the amps are and what the output impedance of the head unit it, but you should be just fine.

Sorry but Type E's are not so great, we get alot of returns on the subs.

I have 4 12's in the back of my rolla and I used the spare tire well to get the desired air space for them.

The first 2 are laid in the spare tire well and the second two are inverted on top of the MDF baffle board.

If you need pics I can try and get some.
