    Battery Relocation Question

Well I'm planning on doing a batt relocation myself in the coming weeks.. I have already gathered all my materials except what is needed to hold the battery down. (Optima Yellow)

Now I've notice a lot of people here are using only a battery tie down bracket, But to me that looks like a short waiting to happen. I've also looked into batt boxes, I could go with the ugly cheapy plastic ones, or the $100 metal ones. But IMO $100 is too much for a freakin box..

So anyways post your opinions and include pics if avaliable so that I might get a better idea of what to do..

    THANKS!:)

Just get a plastic box. You can sometimes find decent looking ones.

have you seen those bat covers from the AutoZone "fast and the furious" product line? They cover the battery all the way around, and they are easy to tie down.
