Basic engine questions and pricing.

Alright, im getting a 2000 dollar check in the mail from selling my laptop. Instead of using it to pay off my loan, i figure im gonna use it to buy a 7AFE block, and a 4AGE head, and other parts to start a 7AGE conversion.

Heres my question, going to a junkyard, what should a 7AFE block cost me about? Also, does it matter if this comes from a ST celica or does it have to come from a corolla of my year and using ODB2 (I have 2 o2 senors so i think i have ODB-2 ecu).

Also, how much would a 4AGE head from a 91-92 small port cost me? And cleaning it up and stuff, am i able to do that myself, or does a shop have to do that?

I would like to keep my car, although it would be nice to have a different car. But i love my car, and to be able to race the modern cars and be side-by-side or beat them. I know doing a 7AGE conversion with some performance parts i should be able to.
