no I just hear a thud like the axles are loose. that's what sherwin and my bro said. not the tranny. it sounds like the car is being pulled back because the is no more force pushing the wheels forward, when I go over bumps it's really rough. the previous owner (my brother-in-law) used to roll over speed bumps like it was a damn truck. . .

    Axles Bad?

How can you tell when axles go bad? Mine make a *thud* when I let go of the gas pedal. My friend said it was my axles but I want a second opinion.

    thanks
