    Auto Transmission

i always use O/D button if i want to decrease the speed,
i am thinking it acts like an engine brake, but
will it hurt my auto transmission?
and do you shift your gear to Neutral if you stop at a red light :?:

it shouldn't hurt your tranny becuase the car will downshift into 3rd on its own when pressing lightly on the brake and going down hill

That question doesn't need to be asked since down-shifting using the od button doesnt harm the tranny. Maybe if you downshifting to like second gear to slow the car down but not to third
