    Audio Setup Help

    I bought 2 Fosgate p3 12" (p312d4 if im not mistaken) thats 500 rms 1000 peak 4ohms

my dilemma is what kind of amp to get.
    - do i need a 2 channel or 1 channel?
    - do i need a 4ohm or is a 2ohm ok?
    - will an amp with more than 500rms kill my subs or will an amp with less power kill it?
    - they say the "no brand" amps lie about their rms/peak power numbers, so if i do get a no brand amp is it ok to go above what their figures say? example: instead of buying a no brand with 1000rms (1000rms/2), ill buy a 2000rms.

yes, this is my first time doing an audio setup, thus i want to do it the right way.

    thanks for the help peeps!

p.s. this will go in my 2door corolla hatch

hey for an amp get a mono channel classD amplifier (most efficient and can make use of 1 superior channel ideal for running low resistance loads)
wire your subs in parallel and if theyre dual voice coil wire them in parallel twice (inside and outside the box) to achieve a 1ohm load which will output good power
www.millionbuy.com is a GREAT site to buy a good amplifier
