    audio power cable problems...

stupid power cables when I turn right with the car it causes power loss...
and my KDC-X979 don't like this and remains shutted-of until I remove the
negative pole of the battery and resatart the car...

how could I... fixed the power cable trouble? (the blue wire with a yelloww strip)

how can I pass a gauge 4 cable to the trunk of the car? (I know... stupid Q.. but I can't find a decent hole through the firewall =.=)

if you still need info on running wire, here's 2 options. run it from your start, to where the main loom goes into the firelwall, near the middle top of the firewall. You cna put it through there if it fits. However, if it does not fit, you can do what I did.
On the right side (look from the front) to the righ of the brake booster, there is a ton of room to drill a hole in there for wire. I did mine on a spot that was angle up and to the right a little, so it was easy to drill. THen put in a grommet and run the wire. from there, run it under the kick panels all the way back to the trunk.

I ran my 4awg wire through the firewall where the steering column goes through ( I think that's what goes through there). Anyways, it's a rubber grommet that I was able to cut a small hole in and easily fit the large wire. Going through the rubber grommet is also a good idea as it makes a seal around the wire preventing water coming in and also prevents angainst any chaffing.

I also re-grounded the alternator and the battery using gauge 4 cables like vamp illustrated in it's DIY... I can raise the volume now 6 more notches from 22 in the tercel to 24 in the corolla to 28~32 depending the song in the corolla with the regroundings ^^
