I don't really care for show. I'd rather mod with a purpose.

i'm all for some mild mods - i had a *little* fun with my last rolla's bodymods but wont be this time... just a kit, maybe reshave my handles ... lol *shrug* dunno..

however... its been fun as hell the last few weeks takin my pretty stock lookin rolla out and rippin people new rearends... :) she looks stock except for the 1.25" drop, 17" rims, Tint and larger tailpipe... but under the hood she's a boostin` lol... hell i got the intercooler pretty well hidden under the stock bumper (that took some slight moddin lol)

since my car is only slightly less slow than it was stock, I guess technically right now it's more show than go, as mods are concerned. But aesthetic mods (the few I have) are done. The rest goes into performance.... but I prefer a mix of speed and aesthetics.

When my car was a scratched up green with steelies and a Catback I guess it could be called a sleeper, but sleepers are supposed to be fast, so I dunno about that definition. I'm headed more towards the show side now, but that's not where I ultimately want to end up. My whole goal for moding my car is to create what toyota should have created from the factory, so I tend not to go overboard with the exterior mods.

I like my car to look good, so im alot for show. But the sleeper is my preference... Im not into stickers and letting people know what I've got. I have no supercharged decals anywhere

    Sleeper.

The only things about my car (externally) that don't appear stock would be the exhaust and suspension work..and clear corners/tint, if they count.

I go for a combo of both. I want the car to have a BMW look, but handle well (and it does heh). Acceleration is decent.

i started with my corolla being something for speed since i had the first cams, bored throttle body and cold air intake done for the corolla by el prototypes. then i caught the show bug and converted everything. the xB was setup for strictly show since it only had 50hp to the wheels

I've got more appearance mods than performance mods right now on my car...simply because I haven't had money to buy performance stuff.

I'd rather have my car look stock and go fast than look fast and go stock.

Then again...in a way it's kinda hard to make a Celica sleeper...

Since I started modding my car when I was 15 I already had a grand into show mods before I even knew how a internal combustion engine worked. If I did it again I would not go as far as I have on this corolla but I think it also depends on the car. If I have a civic or a corolla I'm going to do a lot more to make it look nice than I am if I own a porsche 911.

Right now my car is all show cause I take it to carshows. Once I get enough time and money it will be go also. I would have done a sleeper type look if I was able to get a hold of some lip kit in the past, but the option I got was the body kit so after that I just went with all show.

I like how sleeper is beating show in the poll yet the show cars on this board are like 10:1

Yes technically lol. But out of this whole board how many of us have more money into performance than show mods? I would bet 1 or 2.
