There are no differences in the engine at all. The only difference is that they've added a bunch of body skirts and a spoiler. The result is that it looks more sporty, but because of the increased weight is actually a bit slower.

The only diff between the S and CE is that the S comes with a body kit, fog lights, and a black interior. There may be a couple more little differences, but when it comes to aftermarket parts it doesn't matter which trim you have... all 03 Corolla parts will fit ALL 03 Corollas.

The most anoying part about having a car with a nice lookin red "S" on the back, is that people always hop in the car askin ya to race the M3 down the street. They figure if the honda S2000 is awesome and has a "S" on it, than the corolla S is awesome. NOT THE CASE BUDDY. I still love the car tho. Can't wait till I start really modifying it.

I wonder if this also applies to the new Corolla CE, LE, XRS. I hope the XRS have a much better engine than the lower models.

XRS has 2zz-ge..same motor in celica gts and matrix xrs. this one is 170hp peak hp. the 2005 corolla ce, le, and s all are the same 1zzfe motor.
