    you might want to check this out

    "If you have a .avi video file on your computer and you click once on it just to highlight it, it may crash Windows Explorer. It's happened to me but there is a fix for it. Go to Windows/System32 folder and find a file called "xfcodec.dll" and change the name of it to something like "xfcodec.dll.old" and the problem with the video files will be gone"


    xfire video is still in beta and is effing up everyones computers.
