Anyone have a TRUNK RELEASE installed with their alarm sys?

Just curious, anyone also have a trunk release attached to their alarm system? How much was it?

Also, a silly question. I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but I just want to be sure.

I don't have a sub and amp setup yet, but when I do, I would leave the trunk lock in the disengaged position in order to prevent trunk access from inside the cabin. Now, would having the trunk release locked prevent the remote trunk release from working?

Yes, I have one installed. It was an easy install, its also easy to disconnect the manual locking mechanism.

asianwolf on ebay or asianwolf.com carries trunk pop kits that can easily be added to alarms.... it didn't hurt my wallet that much, tho the install was like 100 bux...

    well

I got mine with Cliffor Matrix 3.5 alarm system. I paid $600 for the whole thing including, remote start, trunk pop, and 2 way pager. So, $100 is right around the price you should be looking for. Mine is installed with a relay, so I could only pop my trunk when the car is not armed. Plus, the key hole for the trunk is disabled for better security too.
