    no, a $150 car in the same shape is cheap enough...heh.


    sorry, i'm picky when it comes to older cars. that one's got a little more wear than i'd want to deal with...but i wouldn't pay more than $500 for a beater, anyway.

    didn't mean to rain on your thread, hon...i'm just uberpicky about the cars i would honestly considering purchasing. if i were to buy that car for that price, it would have to have a good 100k miles LESS on the motor, at the very least.

    doesn't matter.... a 4age is cheap enough... in fact, a friend of mine has a complete spare bluetop from an mr2.... is about to get either a smallport 4agze ($650 shipped) or high comp 4age ($400) and will have another bigport 4age lying around.... it's not like an upgraded engine isn't cheap....

    lol...yeah, i'm used to shopping for $2k rotaries...my mental image of engine price is a bit skewed.

    i'll pay 150 for a sr5 that is about it.

    sr5 isn't worth much to me.
