If its coming from japan then cool, but its not. atleast I don't think. Plus japanese cars are different from us. so even if you buy one that is from japan, you have to cuztom fit it to fit us models.

My point is that you pay for quality and not all japanese cars are different from their US counterparts.

lol guys $300.00 ???? Come on I mean what if its good quality stuff? Do you know that a FIBERGLASS kit from japan for a lip kit only because of the quality you can expect to pay $1,000 + thats just for a lip kit!!! give the guy a break. Ive seen front bumpers in fiberglass that run about $600+ just for the front only. if someone is producing a whole kit lip or full bumpers that is $300 or less its not worth it to waste your money the quality will just be subpar.

Don't compare the european cars from japanese, cuz they will be more expensive. Anything european is expensive. The original TRD are made of polyeurothane, and painted which I got directly from TRD dealer for less than 400 shipped. That is a whole kit and you can't get anymore quality than that. My point is if there are alot of demand for the kits and they were mass produce, then it should be cheaper.

The problem is.. there ISN'T a big demand for these parts.. Its a small group of people on message boards asking for them.

The cost of creating a new full kit or lip kit in either fiberglass or polyurethane is extremely expensive.

Yes I second that. That is why they are so expensive to begin with. I'm just wondering now if there will be a big demand for them since the 98-00 TRD kits are gone.

well you have to have alot of demand for them to be even considered to be made. if not alot of people demand for them, the price will be very high for sure.

The original TRD retail is OVER $1000 for a lipkit the reason that now they are selling very cheap is because of supply and demand now supply is high and demand is low they will sell it for COST or less to keep it from collecting dust.

If you really REALLY want the kit to be cheaper and come out faster you need to prepay for some kits to get production moving the problem is (as you can see in a recent thread from el prototypes) many people talk about intrest they say 100+ people want the item someone pays to make the item and makes 50 of them and when they finally comeout only 10 people actually buy the item.

I'd pay 300 bucks if I have to, I just want to front lip of my car to look more aggressive. I had to use an 01-02 front lip kit cuz they no longer sell the 98-99 kits.
