Engine Anybody have this Intake?

    I am thinking of getting this. Anyone have it? How is sound, installation etc.?

    Well its a short ram so im sure you like the sound... it really bring out the scream of the engine. really deep rumble under load. be carefull if you are buying from e-bay tho... i saw those up there and the people selling them had no so good ratings.

    It looks fine to me. Really, its hard to screw up an intake. It's basically just a tube and a filter.

    yea but make sure it has a MAF hole to mount to..and no name brand intakes aren't CARB legal....but i guess it doesnt matter who ever looks under the hood of a corolla lol

    ive used that one, its ok, sounds great, the filter is kind of crappy thought the top of it is just steel mesh.

    Anybody know if it is easy to swap the filter with an Apexi one? And if so, which one?

    It should be easy to change filters, check K&N... also, just make sure the MAF sensor fits right and its all good. Thats the only part u can really mess up

    I am a bit worried about the filter now. Anyone know for sure which short arms on ebay have a connection for the vacuum line?

    I dont know, If you want to be sure Id just say go call injen or AEM or someone like that. You know they will do it right.
