Amp question

Amp question

I'm looking to buy a system for my car I already picked out this head unit

my question is what amp should i get for the subs?

If u go with a Sony headunit ur in for a let down. because when it comes to car audio Sony is by far the worse, why cuz I had one and couple other people had one, blown capacitors and overheating were the common problems with the Sony headunits. If I were u I wouldve gone with an Alpine, Pioneer or Panasonic. But its up to u just giving u some advice of what to expect with that headunit and other sony car audio products.

As for the amp I would look into the following brands of 2 or mono-channel amps:
JL
Rockford Fosgate
MTX
Kicker
DEI

ya i found a different headunit for a better price at bizrate i'm just looking for one that plays mp3's that way i don't have to keep switching cd's

the main question about the amp is how many watts
