But wat about those pics where they show rollas without the amber tail lights. They may also sell them, but i looked closely today at mine, and i think they simply remove the amber bit and throw in orange bulbs

haha Those are red and clear taillights. You buy them like that. In fact, I was the one who gave DOT. those taillights.

This is my car several years back with those very taillights.

I bought them back in 2001. Do some research on parts for your car on your own. You'll be surprised with what you can find. I came across this prototype a while back.


P.S. Msg DOT. to see if he still has them. He doesn't have an 8th gen anymore, but if he still has them, he might sell them to you.

i was just wondering how u guys took off the amber vinyls of the rear tail lights. It looks simple but i want to do a good job with no damage to the tail lights. Thanks

We didn't take anything off. We put red vinyl on.
