    Altis kit installation

Has anyone installed the Altis body kit for 2003 before? front and rear lip, side skirts, spoiler. I just got mine and it seems that the kit doesn't fit too well :( My model is a CE, so I don't know how the original side skirts are mounted. There are some brackets that came with the kit and I'm really clueless how those brackets are used.
If anyone can offer any tips and hints on the installation of the altis kit, I"LL GREATLY APPRECIATE IT !!!!

I am not sure how either but could you provide some pictures what the Altis kits look like? Also where do you live? Maybe someone near you could help you out.

    Re: Altis kit installation

u need done by the shop bc none of the kit will be 100% fit...or the kit is made by stock..
the altis lip kit is best choice to get...the price is good also the kit is made by ABS plastic... so bring the kit to the shop they will be take care for u the installtion.
make sure u asking them if the kit need to drilling some holes(which is not the best idea)
but hear that kit is very good too.

thanks. I also think I'll let the shop take care of it, but I went to several, let them look at the kit, and it seems that some of them are not 100% sure what they are gonna do. It's hard to pick a body shop. The price quotes are more or less the same, and I have no idea who is better and who's not!!!!
And since my car is a CE, they're gonna need to drill some holes.....which i don't think is a big issue, i mean, i study mechanical engineering and I've drilled holes b4 :p Just don't have a garage to do it myself :(

Hey let me know how things go with that kit. I want to install either the stock S lip kit or the altis kit and I have a CE so I've been trying to figure out what is needed for installation. (holes, bolts, etc) If you look in the fender areas there are some holes that look like they may be the mount points for the lips/skirts. What do you think? :?:

    OCrolla,
    Sorry for the late reply......
I got my Altis kits, had them installed and painted in a body shop, and have been a happy driver for days :) I haven't taken photos yet, coz i still wanna do some mods b4 i post pictures.
THe kits don't fit to the car too well. I mean, I can't expect the perfect fit from stock, but still, there are some gaps between the kits and the car. The rubber lining provided kind of seal up the gap, but there's still a 5mm gap. Maybe I'm a perfectionist :p
According to John from the body shop, the website where I bought the kits didn't give all the hardware. He had to buy the brackets and stuff himself outside. (He's kind enough not to raise the price I have to Pay) Some of the mount holes don't match either. Maybe becoz mine is a CE. So you wanna find a body shop you are familiar with so that you won't be billed for all the extra work.
Also, since the material of the kits are diff. from that of the car, the color didn't match perfectly. Esp. the sides. The front and rear lips are ok. The Spoiler matches perfectly, I like it very much!!! This might be becoz I have a silver. Seems that the Kits' materials stick less metal flakes to itself, and that makes the color different. But all in all, just a little bit difference.
hehhe I am pondering what I should use to fill up the 2 holes on the rear kit. Thinking about light reflectors. But those 2 holes should be filled up IMO. otherwise looks awkward.
Gonna post pictures once I finish my other mods :)

How much did it cost you with the labor of installing the kit and the painting of the kit?
