Alpha Werks exhaust system or TRD mufler

Does anyone have any experience with this exhaust system? Someone local is selling a complete system (8ft) for a good price. Or, for about the same price, someone is selling a TRD catback system. Both systems are used and it will go on an 8th gen Corolla.

i dont have any experience of both catbacks but from i know alpha werks has a deep mild sound tone and trd muffler is really quite but performance goes to alpha werks and looks wise i would go trd muffler and ever since toyota discontinue the trd muffler years ago its hard to find.btw how much is the person selling the trd muffler for?.

I'm pretty sure the TRD is a axleback system.. unless you are asking about the TRD Japan catback.

I stand corrected. Thank you. It is an axleback system. And thanks all for your input. I'm waiting to hear more...

if it's axleback vs. catback, than the catback will get my vote.

I would prefer a catback without a can muffler though.

I think the TRD muffler would mate up to the alphawerks midpipe.. but thats BANK.. haha I might even be able to import a TRD Japan catback for that kind of monies.

yea I think my buddy is looking at a exhaust system for his 335i that cost 1900

Fujitsubo and Kakimoto systems are about 200 less and I can get stuff from second-hand markets for maybe 3-500 depending on what you are looking. Only thing about JDM catbacks is they have a flange before the cat and no bung for secondary O2 sensor so you'd need a exhaust shop to install it

I work for a JDM importer and can bring them in if anyone wants to buy them.. We usually get stuff from auction or secondhand markets. The 2 TRD exhausts above are currently on second hand auction.

    u can, thats a resonator
