    air filter for 05 rolla

So my mom's 05 rolla needs a new air filter at 10k and i was thinking of buying her a k&n filter. But then i saw its almost $50 so i was wondering if i should just buy her a fram air filter or maybe a toyota genuine one....

Any advice? She is the only one that drives it and never goes above 3k rpm

Fram sucks. Buy a Toyota OEM one just dont buy anything from fram especially their oil filters.

They suck. Cant get it any clearer than that lol. There were some tests done where a guy cut open oil filters. I know a few people that cut up fram and an oem one for different cars. Fram sucks lol. Stick with OEM oil filters.

people have found they fall apart really quickly and sometimes the paper ends up inside your engine block.

Do what I did and buy a 10pack from trdsparks.com. Cheap stuff and fast delivery. Bought my TRD strut bar there too. Cheapest place I found for the TRD strut bar and the oil filters are dirt cheap too compared to everywhere else I looked. Even with shipping it is dirt cheap.

i have use fram oil filter for years and didnt have any problem.if you want cheap air filter go fram or other brand air filter.i think the oem air filter is too expensive and to me its the same effect, except for k&n air filter better performance and air flow.

I'm a former Fram user. I use OEM only now. Less valve noise a start up is a good enough reason to stay away from anything Fram. Their quality sucks. It's just not the same as 20 + years ago.
