    Aftermarket gauge problem

    Hi guys,
I recently installed some autometer gauges on my 95. Oil pressure is working fine, voltage also, except for water temperature. I've placed the sender by a water drain bolt on the block and I get no readings at all. I checked the sender's ground and it's good. The gauge itself works. I took out the sender, grounded it and tested it with some boiling water on a pot outside the engine and the gauge reads fine, at least the needle moves to around 100F. The problem starts when I have it installed, the needle won't move, it stays at the rest position.
    Any suggestions??

Might cost a little more money but you could try using a upper radiator hose adapter.
BTW I like your front bumper, much better than the ones we have here.
