AEM short-ram intake owners: How do you like your intake?

Do you like the sound of it?
Do you like the HP increase?
What sort of exhaust are you running?
Have you had any trouble with it?
How much did you pay for it?
Where did you buy it?

I had an AEM SRI in my last car. Didn't really notice any noise increase but it made an awesome hissing sound as it sucked in the air. Performance wise, there was a small increase but nothing great.

I have my K&N Typhoon SRI coming in today. I decided to skip the CAI when a friend of mine hydro locked his car a week ago with his CAI setup. $3000 worth of damage isn't worth the 1-2hp difference to me. I will let you know what I think of mine once I get it installed and have driven it a couple of times.

i got my AEM SRI for $150 and had it for more than 1/2 yrs, so far so good
the sound of it, well its LOUD after it reaches 3000 rpm+, it sounds like the engine is screaming
performance wise, yes u will feel the increase, like it holds the gear longer and gets more power than before.

is yours auto / manual btw?

Mine is an auto.

I love mine... sounds great!
