    a slight problem?

so I installed 35watts HIDs today and the problem that I'm having is that I cannot turn off the automatic light sensor (for those who dont know, it is basically the sensor that senses if there is light; if it is dark, my oem bulbs would turn on automatically). I dont know where under the hood this sensor is located so im hoping someone can tell me?
    thanks!

Once you disable the DRLs following that DIY, your HIDs won't flicker anymore.

The fuse and relay is located under the hood, but you cannot disable it from there. You can only do it behind the glove box. Vamp's DIY in the link above will show you step by step what to do.

If your HIDs are flickering, then you have the negative terminal hooked up incorrectly.

I was actually referring to when the HIDs are activated by the DRLs. DRLs run the headlights at a partial voltage so the ballasts are fully charged up. If long term, they can fry.

No need. Just disable the DRLs entirely.

Toyota might have an official guide to disable them like they did for the 8th gens.
