A few tips just from my own experience in my corolla

    G'day,

    1st problem
As i went round a bend at around 80kmph, the car would feel as if its bouncing. It felt pretty unstable. Checked it out, replaced the shock on the left side, runs perfectly.

    2nd problem
Ive seen this very often in toyotas pre 00' models. The windows may fall down by themselves. My passengers window, and rear drivers window did this, they would stay up but a slight bump would make them drop. the problem was the glass had come out of the actual grooves in which it was sitting. Easily fixed, just simply had to slide them back into the grooves. this required taking the interior panels off the door and unbolting alot. It was very simple. the thing is very rusted and the rubber groove is wearing away, so they may need to be replaced sometime in the future.

    3rd problem
at the moment im getting about 300 k's to the tank, which is pretty bad considering the price of petrol. no fix for that yet lol. however the lighter the car, the better fuel efficiency. so i would say dont leave bottles of coolant or water in the boot unless your going on a long trip.

These are just basic, simple things however im sure the older the car gets and the longer i keep it, more crap will happen and i will continue an update.

new to the TRD forum so be kind :D
