    A/F Ratio Gauge Question

I just got an A/F Ratio Gauge, I read the instructions and it says stuff about a 1,2,3,4 Wire Sensor. How many does a 2002 Corolla have, and which wire is the the signal wire? I'd appreciate the help.

and to make the A/F ratio gauge *really works, you need wideband O2 sensor.

I thought that you need to connect the A/F meter to the A/Fsensor in the exhaust mainfold, but that has only 2 wires.

do a search on wideband o2 sensor, I remember now that it was the reason for not installing A/F gauge in my rolla, wideband sensor is more precise.

    http://www.wmsracing.com/wmsweb/wideband.htm

here is a link to one... as you see by the price tag its not as cheap as the stock one we have in our cars.

I talked to Toyota today and the service tech said I could hook it up to the signal wire on the Pre-Cat, and it would work fine.

It's fine to hood it up, but all you will see is the needle jumping back and fore and you can't really read any *useful information with your narrowband O2 sensor.
Just ask yourself, why do you need to af gauge if you can't read anything from it? Just for the look? That's just rice!!!
