    A/C not working, plz help!

My A/C stopped working this morning :( . The compressor is not kicking in. Checked the fuse and is ok. I think it could be a relay or something but I don't know how to locate those things. Any suggestions? Should I take the car to the dealership? Is the A/C components covered by our waranty?
    Thanx!

as long as you're under 36k miles, should be under warranty. If you have a system or something that could have caused a short out, that may not be covered.

You probably have refrigerant leak. There is a low pressure switch that prevents the compressor from engaging when the system is not fully pressurized. As others have said, it's under warranty if you have less than 36K miles on it.

Thanx for the comments. I took the car to a friend to have checked for leaks and gas charde and it's also fine. I guess I'm screwed since my car has 46k miles on it. I'm taking it to the dealer anyways. I live in Puerto Rico and i'ts around 98 degrees around here and without a/c it's not fun driving around.

Went to the dealer today, they charged $50 just to take a look and find the problem. They told the the problem was the relay located inside the fuse box (part number 90987-02022). The cost: another $57. Since they didn't have I placed a special order fot it. I went to a local autoparts and got a replacement one for $12...and presto!!!... my a/c started working again. :D

well the A/C has 2 relays. One is the HTR (Heater) Relay in the front passenger door jam inside the car, and the other is the MG/CLT Relay in the engine bay fuse panel(long skinny one) on the driver side.
