    Starting another project. Will be doing MPG and Dyno comparisons for a BPU Corolla Plus plastic intake manifold between 8th and 9th gen ECU's.

    Update- 1/13

    Here's a Toyota PDF Describing the differences of the Old and New style Knock Sensors and the main difference between the 02 and 03 ecu's is speed of performance. 8th gen's run on 16 bit and 9th gens run on 32 bit.

    So you're just swapping the stock 8th gen ECU for a stock 9th gen ECU? Or is there something else there that is happening.

    Nope that's it. After I comparte the 8th vs 9th gen ecu. I'll put the Supercharger back on and report how it performs with the correct Ecu it was designed for.

    Last time I found a good selection was at a Good Guys car show. I'll make sure to buy a bunch next time they're in town

    Actually Yes. There are several wires in 9th gen corolla's B and C connectors. Not yet at D. Anything unused, you just tape off or cut off.

    Haha I see. Yeah, The 10.5 version looks good. But still drives very numb. You can't feel anything. Poor steering feel, poor handling, poor engine sound..
