    98 Rolla Turbo questions

Hey im looking to get a turbo kit for my 98 rolla either by purchasing one or by getting one customer built but i have a few questions for people with past experience.

First-- for people who have or have had a turbo 1zz rolla, any problems? any reason i should not turbo mine?

Next-- one of the only kits i can find pre manufactured is by TSI either from Turbokits.com or from another site ive found prostreetonline.com, i believe both are the same tsi just different places to buy from, prostreet is cheaper by the way. Anyway im looking for people who have had experience with either kit, i hear fitment is an issue but its always rumors no one ever actually knows for sure, i dont want to hear rumors because they are crap.... And as far as the Turbokits.com kit its currently in stage 2 development so maybe that will mean some better things in the future ill just have to wait and see. And what ever happened to the Stafford Fab kits...Guess i was just to late with that kit, it looked nice and i heard great things about it, just wish i had the cash earlier, since now they've dropped off the face of the earth.

But any feedback from guys or gays with first hand experience will be appreciated.
    Thanks

Try to look at vvt-i.net. Someone just installed the turbo kit from Turbokits.com about 1-2 months ago.
FIY, that kit won't fit, he did LOTS of mod to make it fit.

I've got the basic parts, turbo header, turbo, emanage, intercooler, oilpan, BOV, Wastegate, and a couple of other parts for sale. It isn't a full complete kit, but it is close, email me jason@faithoutreach.org for info, or to make an offer

At the end of the month I'm going to be building a kit for an '02 Corolla. Once it's all done, I'll be marketing that kit and shortly thereafter following up with a kit for the '98-'99. Will be a couple months.

What kind of lead times are we looking at? How long is the build time? I have a 02 LE. Do you require a downpayment then full payment before it ships or full payment up front?

The idea is to have one in-stock at all times, or at least have the parts that I have to custom-make in stock and drop-ship the other things. Full payment will be required before shipping, of course. If you're interested email me at drtweak@phoenixtuning.com
