    98-00 JDM headlights

i suggest you read the whole thing first before doing this diy...

    step 1...
take headlights out of the car...

    step 2...
take the black plastic adjusters as well because you dont want to pop these in the oven with the headlight housing...

    step 3...
take out the metal clips around the headlight housing...

    step 4...
preheat oven to 250 degrees!!! 250!!!!! (this sounds like a cooking method)
but some may prefer a heat gun and thats alright...

    step 5...
pop the housings in the oven for 6 minutes!!! 6 minutes ok? you dont want the housing to start melting...

    step 6...
simply but slowly pry the headlight cover from the reflector apart with a flat head screwdriver...

    step 7...
mask the area you dont want to put paint on... mainly the reflector...you will be painting the parts of the headlight that i painted on mine...

    step 7b...
after masking the headlight...sand the areas that will be painted...

    step 7c...
put a layer of all purpose primer or any primer that you prefer on the areas to be painted...

    step 7d...
put 2 layers of HIGH TEMP BLACK PAINT(i used grill paint from home depot... it doesent have much gloss on it which i like...) putting the second layer after the first dry...

    step 7e...
MAKE SURE that the paint is COMPLETELY DRY(to prevent moisture) before proceding to step 8...

    step 8...
once paint is dry, clean up the area of the headlight where the cover meets it...(take out excess seals)

    step 9...
put a new layer of silicone seal around the area where the cover meets the headlight...

    step 10...
pop it back in the oven for another 6 minutes in 250 degrees... to soften up the seals...

    step 11...
once seals are soft, put the headlight and the cover back together...

    step 12...
put the metal clips back on... then the headlights back on...

    step 13...
    take pictures...lol

did i mention... take out the bulbs before putting the headlights in the oven...(duh...)

i hope even though this diy doesent have pics that you guys still wont mess up... if there are any questions... feel free to pm me... and please, dont blame me if you make a mistake doing this diy... this is just a guide to help... its not full proof... but its how i done it on mine... oh btw, next time i do something on my car... im going to take pics for diy's...

    good luck...
    happy DIY-ing...
