Psycho Child and I swapped out his huge stock radiator for this half-sized Civic one. When you flip the stock fan upside down, it practically bolts in on the bottom. We fashioned some brackets to mount the top of the fan. It sits in there pretty snug, although the lower radiator hose and the transmision cooler nipple next to it are sandwhiching the lower engine mount. The top is being held in place with the assistance of a single bracket that I cut and bent. Funny thing is that now his water temp seems to run slightly cooler with this setup. BTW, this was all done to make room for the turbo, since the stock radiator was in the way.

Cool. Im guessing it'll offer sufficient cooling once the turbo is up and running?

Well, it's an aftermarket radiator, not OEM. Who knows?

It should. The water temp needle actually moves down whenever the thermostat opens and the fan turns on.
