This is an old topic. TRD has a supercharger for the 1ZZFE. Unfortunately, it does not fit the 8th gen, only the 9th gen due to clearance issues. Please do a search for all other questions before posting a new thread.

    They don't fit 8th gen.
Some ppl said you can get a smaller radiator and cut the hood open then the TRD SC will fit in 8th gen, but no one really tried.

The 8th gen S/C will happen when pigs fly and cars can fly

Soo basically what your saying is the TRD charger can fit on the 8th gen???? You just have to take your hood off or cut a big hole in it to make it work right??? Or does
the intake flange on the 9th gen 1zz differ from the 8th gen?

There's more space between the engine and hood on 9th gen. That's what everyone means.

W/o major modifications, it just doesn't work.

Nobody's doubting that, but the custom work required is just not worth it.

There's no point anyways. Even with the supercharger, you're only pushing 160. Very weak for forced induction and definitely not worth 3000+ and major modifications to make it fit.

Yes, it fit the 8th gen ENGINE no problem, the intake flange on 9th and 8th gen are 100% same.
