    8th gen Corolla variation designations

This was a topic brought up at TN. Would it be right to apply the Zenki, Chuki, and Kouki generation designations for the 8th gen Corolla as well? The 240SX and AE86 both use the designations, so why not others as well? I know the 8th gen Corolla is USDM rather than JDM, but it sure beats using 8, 8.25, and 8.5 to designate the differences. Below is my post from TN.
