    7" indash screen

If anyone is interested in a cheap 7" indash tv (not motorized), but it still is sweet, check out this site http://www.digitalww.com/LCD_TM_701L.htm. The picture quality is awesome.

I put it in the factory radio slot, moved my head unit down to the pocket below the heater controls, and DVD in the glove box. Don't have any pics yet, sorry.

Is there a kit for putting your head unit under the heater controls or did you just figure a way to stick it in there? also do you still have your doors on the slots below the the heater controls? That way it gives it a complete sleeper look? That is what I would be interested in doing.

Well it is actually a pain in the ass. You can't use the door from the pocket because it sticks out, and I suggest you get rid of the bottom pocket as well, because it's kind of hard to open with the radio there.

First you have to cut the back out of the pocket, leave enough room so the radio can sit.

Second, there is a lip on the top part of that pocket in the front, center the radio, make a mark on both sides and cut the lip off. ( I used a hacksaw blade and a utility knife)

Now your radio should fit, you will ahve to extend the wires from the harness a little, but not a big problem.

You will also have to make a piece to go on both sides to fill in the little gap, I used ABS Plastic, ( available at any audio shop) and made the spacers and a cover to go over the bottom pocket, which houses toggle switches.

    I will post pics soon
